KA2 Philosophy and Method (2023, 1050 pages with color).

Scientific philosophy, theory, and method converge at the point of applied practice.  I set out to grasp philosophy as an applied science by understanding the motion in the material world, extracting conclusions as to why and how things changed, and testing my results in real life situations---all the while appreciating that one’s philosophy, if it is scientific, is nothing else than the material world’s dynamics reflected by the human mind, and translated into forms of thought.

I settled on an approach of deductive criticism, sublation and supersession summarized into journals over decades as to extract the best-proven knowledge from each epoch and advance it.  Just as cells are regenerated continuously in living organisms (old ones die and new ones arise), obsolete forms of social structure, systems, and ideological systems die and new progressive or regressive ones are born.  There is life in death, just as there is inevitable emergent death in life---life dies, death lives.  We therefore must master not only what to study, but also how to study and what to do with the results of what we study.  Summarized practice is theory; applied theory systematically welded by a method improves and perfects subsequent winning practices.

So, decades of my work culminate here.  This is closure.  There are moments when enough has been analyzed and criticized, and it is time just to clear the intellectual ground of the debris of ages.  There are moments when a careful tending of the first beginning of the new, which is growing among the ruins of the old on a soil still severely littered with remnants of complicated disasters, is more important.  This is such a period.  Here elimination of the old occurs with simultaneous assertion of the new.  The new develops and emerges out of the old, originates in its bowels, grows and matures within it.  The old is never fully destroyed by the new; the best of it lives on in a higher form. The new becomes old and the old reproduces a new, but on a higher level.

Critical analysis of the obsolete is necessary to retain that which is healthy and progressive, and to create conditions for its further development.  Not all the positive aspects of the old are preserved in the new because often obsolete and harmful elements are also transmitted.  The task is to preserve the positive elements of the old, and the achievements of past development and assimilate as much as possible for the new.  The careful extraction of the essential elements of this moment, critical assessment of philosophical, theoretical, and methodological systems is necessary to advanced philosophy, theory and methods in this area.  This is our approach to philosophical studies.
