Journal-Keeping (2023, 333 pages)

I started writing journals my final years at Howard University to keep up with the 100s of books read staying on top of course work and political work. 30 years ago PhD work was brutal, especially in research methods, statistics and political economy.  Everything was difficult and everything was earned. 

 Out of necessity I had to learn to organize 1000s of inferences from 10s of thousands different sources, books, journal articles, magazines, abstracts, dissertations, theses, manuals, handbooks, position papers, etc.  Those journals preserved the rational kernel of my thoughts for decades which then recently allowed me to write 5 books of over 1000 pages in less than 3 years while working a full-time technical research job. And 32 out of 33 books in less than 5 years. All started in journals.  To remember precisely our distant past it must be written down. Move from research to notes to scientific journals to manuscripts to printed books. Organize your long term actions around those scientific conclusions drawn from those books. That is how the rest of the successful world has succeeded.
